Washington Plantation's Policies
he bedrooms and public areas of Washington Plantation are non-smoking. You may, however, smoke on the porches where plenty of chairs and tables are available.
Deposits on reservations are required in the form of a valid credit card number or check. We accept all major credit cards. Your card will be charged 14 days before your arrival. There will be no charge if cancellation is made 14 or more days before scheduled arrival. Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days of scheduled arrival are refundable if the room can be re-rented. Cancellations made less than one week prior to scheduled arrival are not refundable. We may be able to arrange for you pick an alternate date within a reasonable period. You may make arrangements with us when you reserve for payment by cash or check, but a valid credit card is still required to hold your room(s).
Payment for the entire stay is expected on arrival.
Check-in hours are from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. If your plans involve earlier or later arrival, please let us know in advance.
Checkout time is 11:00 AM. Late checkout may be arranged at extra cost.
A full-service breakfast is served from 7:30 until 10:00 AM. Early risers will find juice, rolls and other goodies outside their doors after 7:00 AM. Special menus can be arranged with advance notice, and other meals may be arranged at extra cost.
We don’t have the facilities to allow pets.
Well-behaved children are welcome, but to be truthful, they might find us boring. We have two rooms that will accommodate a third person at an extra charge of $35 per night.
Our guests are responsible for damages caused by them, including damaged room furnishings, glass- and chinaware, and will be charged repair or replacement costs.
We reserve the right not to tolerate behavior that is objectionable to us or to other guests. Violators will be asked to leave the house, without refund. It's never happened, but who knows?
